For some reason The Daily Bible editor in the June 3rd reading takes half of a verse in a section about Ahab and tries to apply it to his father Omri. 1 Kings 16:31a in the NIV falls under a section titled "Ahab Becomes King of Israel" and says of Ahab, "He not only considered it trivial to commit the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, but he also married Jezebel daughter of Ethbaal king of the Sidonians..."
The Daily Bible takes that section, puts it under the header "Omri Arranges Marriage," and adds bracketed information to make it look like it's about Omri marrying his son Ahab to Jezebel.
It's very odd the editor does this. The verse completely makes sense in its original context and only causes confusion with the new placement. The editor gives no reasoning as to why he does this. I would recommend crossing out the header and bracketed information and noting that this section should fall on the next page in the section about Ahab after verse 29 as usual.
Regarding this and some of the other mistakes made by the editor in his chronological ordering of text--overall I find this format so helpful that instead of throwing out what is mostly helpful and using another Bible format that overall isn't as clear, I prefer to just mark the corrections in this format of the Bible.
