"God Will Circumcise Your Hearts"

I want to highlight Deuteronomy 30:6 from today's reading as a clear passage of who takes the action which gives us salvation: "The LORD your God will circumcise your hearts and the hearts of your descendants, so that you may love him will all your heart and with all your soul, and live." It is only by God's action that we can accept his love and receive salvation; we cannot do this on our own.
