Insects "That Walk On All Fours"?

As you read Leviticus 11:20-23 maybe it stopped you when it mentions insects having four legs. The People's Bible explains, " 'Walking on all fours' does not refer to the number of legs, since insects normally have six legs, but to their movements, which resemble those of four-footed animals."
