David's Last Words

The "last words of David," which really refers to it being his last psalm, 2 Samuel 23:1-7 is interesting because David states outright what we've seen throughout his psalms--that "the Spirit of the LORD spoke through me; his word was on my tongue." The People's Bible refers to Acts 1:16 and 2:29,30 as further confirmation of David's writings being the inspired words of God. And here again, as clear as ever, David states his trust in God's salvation: "Is not my house right with God? Has he not made an everlasting covenant, arranged and secured in every part? Will he not bring to fruition my salvation and grant me my every desire?"
