Join the Daily Bible Challenge!

Three easy steps to participate:

1. Purchase The Daily Bible. The best price is online, but it is also available at local Christian bookstores. I recommend hardcover.

2. Read the daily reading.

3. Optional: Return to this site to discuss the readings (consider bookmarking this site so you can easily find it each day).

Mention of "Son" in Proverbs 30

Does anyone know what Proverbs 30:4 means when it asks regarding God, "What is his name, and the name of his son? Tell me if you know!"

Yes, please do tell me if you know!

It seems like a literary device, similar to "There are six things the LORD hates, seven that are detestable to him" (Proverbs 6:16)--like a build up of the thought. But referencing God's son seems like it must be more significant. Unfortunately none of the commentaries I looked at referenced it.
