The Site of the Temple

In 2 Chronicles 3:1 it's interesting to note that the temple is built on Mount Moriah, the location where Abraham just about sacrificed Isaac in obedience to God's command before God stopped him. The location was also the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite (see 1 Chronicles 21).
